Government of Curaçao

Bloomington University is registered and gazetted in the official Curacao Commercial Register with number 163649 and has been granted a license to operate by the Government of Curacao with number 69610.2023. The University is duly recognized and granted a Royal Charter with number 2023/26764 by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture & Sports, empowering it to confers certificates and degrees and titles at the certificate, associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree levels.

International Accreditation

With the Ministry of Education's concent, Bloomington University has embarked on the journey toward institutional accreditation with:

British Accreditation Council (BAC):

Recognized as an Approved Private Sector Regulatory Body (PSRB) and acknowledged by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). This agency is a prominent member of global networks such as the International Quality Group (CIQG) under the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), the British Quality Foundation (BQF), and the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN).

The National Accreditation Commission for Schools and Colleges (NACSC):

Operates as a national independent accreditation and regulation authority and is recognized under the principles affirmed by the Competition Appellate Tribunal of India, which validates the authority of independent accreditation bodies.

NACSC was established as an independent, autonomous, non-profit organization under Act 2 of 1882 by the State Government of Karnataka in 2016, following consultations with education departments and ministerial committees. Additionally, NACSC aligns with the principles outlined in the framework for independent accreditation agencies in the State Government of Andhra Pradesh’s Act 21 of 2019 and will remain outside the purview of the government, functioning independently.
